Since 2013, we've been delighting our neighbourhood with exceptional food, coffee, and warm, friendly vibes - We currenty have a rare opportunity for a new Venue Manger in 2025 due to internal expansion.

Your Role as Cafe Manager

We're searching for a charismatic and driven Cafe Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment. You'll bring energy, leadership, and a knack for delivering outstanding service while mastering the nuts and bolts of running a thriving small business. At Brickwood you get the whole nine yards, in other eords you have access to KPIS, Profit and loss accounts and learn how to run a business. If you're a hospitality professional with ambitions of one day running your own cafe, this role offers invaluable hands-on experience.

Venue Managers in the past have gone on to open there own cafes in London, Europe and Oz

What You'll Do

- Lead day-to-day cafe operations with professionalism and charm.

- Foster a welcoming, energetic, and inclusive environment for both customers and staff.

- Take ownership of health and safety/food hygiene standards.

- Curate an enticing counter display that reflects our quality-first ethos.

- Manage stock control, ordering, checklists, and other operational essentials.

- Prepare weekly staff rotas, manage KPIs and daily reporting.

- Build strong relationships with our cherished local customers.

- Attend monthly leadership meetings with other sore mangers and owners to shape the cafe's ongoing success.

What We're Looking For

- A confident leader with a professional yet relaxed approach to management.

- Passion for food, coffee, and cafe culture.

- A natural people person with excellent communication skills.

- Basic barista skills ( At least 2 years - we'll provide additional training).

- Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus, but not essential - we'll teach you!

- Eligibility to work full-time in the UK.
