Job Title: Verification Engineer



Location: Hybrid Working 2 days per week (Aberdeen)



Salary: Up to 45k per annum + fantastic benefits including enhanced maternity/ paternity and sick pay

About the Role




We are looking for skilled and dedicated Design Verification Engineers to join our Energy Transition and consultancy team. This exciting role includes undertaking a variety of verification assessments both on and offshore.

Responsibilities will include:



Ongoing onshore / offshore examinations and assessments for installations such as FPSOs, platforms, semi-submersibles, subsea and onshore terminals Surveys, examinations, maintenance / inspection reviews and technical audits onshore / offshore against Performance Standards and International Standards or Client Specifications Provide clear and concise technical reports in line with BV reporting guidelines Responsible for technical and quality of personal deliverables during performed Verification services, both written and verbal Implementation of Verification Schemes in accordance with UK legislation Keep personal competency and CPD records update When required, also supply similar independent Verification services to International Clients to meet national and international codes and standards and/or their own specific requirements To take responsibility for your own actions to support the company in achieving its health & safety goals and environmental objectives. Undertake a variety of quantitative and qualitative data verification tasks Play an active role in the delivery of sustainability report assurance and data verification projects Conduct primary and in-depth research as required Support interaction with clients and relationship building as part of project deliver Support and undertake site visits to client sites and offices Provide administrative support to the team as required Keep up to date with current developments within sustainability Ensure a safe, environmentally conscious, and high quality culture

Experience & Skills Required:



Demonstrable engineering experience in Verification / surveyor / engineer / QA/QC /design engineering roles Solid level of awareness of construction, commissioning or operation of Offshore Installations an advantage For Pressure Equipment related Roles in line with UKAS RG2 Qualification Category 2 Requirements or equivalent Awareness of UK Safety Case Legislation, its implementation and interactions an advantage Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate at all levels to discuss issues and resolve problems Ability to work simultaneously for multiple projects and clients involving varied technical challenges Offshore experience an advantage but not an essential Able to travel in UK, offshore and internationally to meet our client needs

Qualifications Required:



HNC / HND / Degree in an engineering discipline or Industry equivalent sufficient for the person to carry out the functions of an independent and competent person to meet the requirements of the Safety Case Regulations. Membership of recognised Professional Institution or Engineering Council preferred
