The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a varied caseload, values clinical freedom, and thrives in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere.

What We're Looking For:

Someone who enjoys working in a supportive and fun team environment A passion for delivering high-quality veterinary care Good communication skills and a caring approach to clients and their pets Perform surgical procedures on animals, including routine spays, neuters, and more complex surgeries. Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions in animals. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients. Educate pet owners on post-operative care, nutrition, and general animal health. Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and surgical techniques. Participate in laboratory testing and analysis as needed for diagnosis and treatment
Qualifications:

A degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVSc or equivalent) and full registration with the relevant veterinary council. Proven experience in a clinical setting, particularly in surgical procedures. Knowledge of veterinary laboratory practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with pet owners and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor. A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing exceptional care.
