18 Hours per week,Tuesday and Friday. Flexible shift patterns that vary between 08:00am and 8:00pm including 1:4 Saturdays.





An opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team at Berkhamsted as a Client Care Assistant.



You will be responsible for ensuring both our clients and patients receive a professional five-star service throughout their time with us.



This role is fast-paced, high-pressured but fun, with no two working days the same. We pride ourselves on providing the best standard of care to both our long-standing and new clients, always ensuring we are personal, professional, and empathetic.



Our front-of-house teams are the face and voice of our business therefore, this role is extremely valued within the hospital team.





Your role and responsibilities



Liaising with clients and the clinical team to ensure effective customer service Completing various administrative duties for the clinical team and the business Promoting our fantastic Pet Healthcare Plan Meeting and greeting clients with an effortless smile Booking appointments and diary management Managing telephone and email enquiries Taking payment for services and products Managing cash, stock and client accounts Opening and closing the practice. Various administrative duties such as:

+ Pet travel scheme paperwork / AHCs
+ Post op calls and Pre-op texts
+ Maintaining consult rooms
+ Uploading /printing lab results
+ Scanning paperwork
+ Meds collections texts
+ Inputting stock take (every 3 months)
+ Some restraining to help vets when limited staff
May be required to cover shifts at other Hertfordshire practices in St Albans and Potters Bar on occasions. They may also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts at these locations from time to time.

Key Skills and Experience



Experience in a Reception or customer service role essential Experience of the veterinary industry preferable IT skills - confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills The ability to stay focused under pressure and to multitask Flexibility to work on a rota basis
