Due to ongoing growth, we are inviting applications for an experienced Receptionist/Client Care Team Member to join our team at Wear Referrals Veterinary Specialist. This is a genuine opportunity for candidates with extensive high-level reception experience gained in a busy and challenging professional environment to join a successful and growing business with scope for career development for the right candidate. A customer service qualification is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a similar high-pressure client care environment, be organised, smart and professional in appearance, detail orientated, committed to excellent customer service and able to commit to a shift-based role.
Meeting and greeting clients in a professional, yet sensitive manner
Answering the telephone, dealing with queries, transferring calls, and taking messages where applicable
Liaising with referring vets and accurately recording details
Updating in-house notes system clearly and accurately
Coordinating appointments with the animals owners
Discussing finances and pet Insurance details
Taking card and cash payments
Accurately carrying out departmental filing
Building good working relationships with colleagues at all levels
Assisting with any other ad hoc duties when requested.
This is a full-time position working 40hrs/week over 5 days, Monday to Sunday, shifts between 7am -10pm.
