Blaise Veterinary Referral Hospital is a state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary facility that embodies high clinical standards and a supportive, caring culture. At over 36,000 sq ft, Blaise is one of the largest veterinary hospitals in the UK, with the capacity to treat up to 10,000 pets per year.

We provide specialist-led referrals and 24/7 emergency services. Conveniently located near the A38 in Longbridge, Blaise is part of the West Longbridge regeneration project, offering both accessibility and a modern working environment.

Role Overview

We are excited to welcome the next intake of Small Animal Rotating Interns. This 12-month programme offers structured exposure across five core rotations: Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Anaesthesia, and Emergency Care. Interns also have the opportunity to explore additional rotations of their choice.

The internship is designed to provide hands-on clinical experience, close mentorship, and continuous professional development within a leading referral hospital.

Key Responsibilities

As a Rotating Intern, you will:Engage fully in each rotation, working closely with senior clinicians and specialists.
Conduct examinations, support diagnoses, and contribute to treatment planning.
Assist in surgeries, procedures, and emergency cases, building clinical confidence across multiple disciplines.
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Participate in seminars, CPD, and ongoing learning opportunities.



RequirementsTo be eligible, applicants must have:
A veterinary degree recognised by the RCVS.
RCVS registration (or eligibility to register).
Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available for overseas applicants).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively.
A proactive and adaptable approach to learning.
