We are looking for a

highly motivated, full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse

to join our growing team at Bridge Referrals. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic qualified registered nurse. The position will involve all aspects of nursing care for inpatients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure and also be self-sufficient. You should work well in a team, and thrive in the varied environment of a veterinary referrals centre.

You will become an integral part of

Team Bridge

, contributing to our mission of making Bridge Referrals the leading choice for patients, clients, and veterinary professionals across the North East.

You should commit to a rolling rota of 40 hours per week including weekend and bank holiday shifts. Previous referral nursing experience is preferred, but not essential, as we offer training and support to fully qualified RVNs joining the practice from primary care.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional care to your referral inpatients, as well as handling any emergencies during the night. You will be caring for a mix of critical cases, medical and surgical inpatients. The role will be best suited to an experienced nurse with an interest in night and emergency work, however we will welcome applications from motivated new graduates with a passion for establishing a career in OOH referrals.

Skills and Experience:

Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS) Strong communication and teamworking skills Adaptability and a proactive, positive attitude Able to work efficiently under pressure in a busy referral setting Confident with IT and clinical record keeping Referral experience desirable, but not essential
