Central to the Horner Pet Rehab and Wellness Centre (PRWC) is the provision of physiotherapy and treadmill-hydrotherapy. The care given is patient centred and delivered to a high standard in keeping with the core values of the PRW Centre. This new part-time physiotherapist role will have a high level of autonomy. The physiotherapist will be expected to build their own client list to generate repeat business for themselves. The successful candidate will work alongside our full-time physiotherapist Megan to grow the service in line with the Centre's values.
Remuneration
Employment Status - Self-employed contractor
Basic Pay - 25 per client seen and charged (Currently appointments are 1 hour long)
Expected workload - Two working days per week, 8 sessions per day

This feeds into the vision to become a trusted hub for pet wellness, providing exceptional care that enhances the wellbeing of pets and their families. The longer-term ambition for the centre is to offer multiple complimentary therapies and grow into a holistic patient care facility.
Description
The role is solely clinical in responsibilities. Despite being a self-employed physiotherapist, we will expect the physiotherapist to adopt our cultural pillars for personal and business growth; Patient Centred Care, Goal Driven, Supportive and Compassionate to Clients, Relationship-led, and Commit to making a rewarding environment to work in.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Physiotherapy Consultations and service
- Ensuring excellent client communication
- Responsible for all patient care
- Billing and invoicing clients following services
- Providing accurate estimates prior to interventions
- Following and advocating company protocols and processes
- Promoting Healthcare plans
- Committing to targets and goals set by Horner PRWC management
- Actively promoting the culture and values of the business
- Attending management and leadership training as required
- Maintaining suitable accreditation
- Responding to client concerns, objections, or complaints
- Supporting other team members in their daily duties
- Maintain relevant and up to date CPD
- Maintain all equipment to the highest standards
Experience
A degree in Animal Physiotherapy or a related field is essential.
Experience using an underwater treadmill is essential.
Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric approach are crucial for success in this role.
