Clare Veterinary Group is seeking a motivated cleaner to join the team. This position will be based mostly at the Ballyclare site, but will include some deep cleaning shifts at our branches in Cavehill, Carrickfergus and Whiteabbey, therefore flexibility to travel between branches is essential.

About the role

It is important in a veterinary setting to adhere to a high level of infection control and cleanliness, therefore we are looking for someone who has a desire to work to and maintain these standards. The role will include cleaning and disinfection in our small and large animal, clinical and non clinical areas, following set protocols. Specific areas will include waiting areas, reception, consult rooms, staff room, bathrooms, clinical areas, large animal rooms and accommodation for out of hours staff.

The position would ideally be a full time position, however, we are open to discussing flexibility in the number of hours worked or a part time role for the ideal candidate. Due to the normal functioning of the practice, it would be ideal to have some hours either early morning or late evening, to enable cleaning of our more busy areas to be carried out during quieter times. Rota and hours can therefore be discussed as part of the interview process.
