Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to small animals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and veterinary medicine. Both full time and part time applicants will be considered. RCVS and VDS fees paid.

Duties:
- Assist veterinary surgeons in surgical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinary team
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
- Provide nursing care to hospitalised animals
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the practice
- Be involved in the development of nurse clinics

Experience:
- Qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant certification
- Previous experience or newly qualified considered
- Proficient in laboratory procedures and equipment
- Strong communication skills with both colleagues and pet owners
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
