We're a proudly independent, community-focused veterinary clinic in Uxbridge, West London, and we're looking for a Practice Manager with exceptional people management skills to guide and grow our friendly, committed team.

We're a warm, close-knit practice serving pets (and their people!) across Uxbridge and the surrounding area. From wagging tails to worried owners, we're known for our personal touch, clinical excellence, and positive culture. As we grow, we're looking for someone who can keep our team supported, our days organised, and our standards high.
The Role:
As our Practice Manager, you'll be the backbone of the practice - ensuring the team feels supported, communication flows, and the business side of things is always one step ahead. We're looking for someone who's confident in taking the lead, building a positive workplace culture, and solving problems with a proactive mindset.
Hours:
32hrs per week, No weekends or late nights - and we're happy to chat about some flexibility for the right candidate.
Your Day Might Include:
Leading and motivating a multi-disciplinary team of vets, nurses, and receptionists
Providing clear, consistent communication and support to all staff
Managing HR, compliance, rotas, stock control and daily operations
Driving high standards in client care and team wellbeing
Playing a strategic role in the practice's growth and success
Carrying our performance reviews and appraisals
Overseeing the administration team and functions
Facilities management
Resolving client queries
Being a calm and trusted point of contact for both people and pets
You'll Fit Right In If You:
Have experience managing a veterinary, healthcare or client-facing team
Are a confident leader who knows how to develop, coach and support staff
Have a strong understanding of HR, finance, operations, and client care
Are solutions-focused, organised, and able to balance priorities effectively
Lead with kindness, clarity, and integrity - and enjoy a good laugh with the team!
