Veterinary Receptionist/Patient Care Assistant - Join Our Lovely Team at Ecovets (South West London)
This is vet care evolved. We're here to raise the standard for pets, their people, and the planet.
We're looking for a friendly, organised, animal-loving receptionist to be the welcoming face of
Ecovets
, our independent vet practice in South West London.
We're a supportive, close-knit team who love what we do, and we're proud of the relationships we've built with our clients (and their pets!). If you're someone who enjoys working with people and animals, and you've got a knack for keeping things running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Greeting pets and their people with a smile and helping them feel at ease.
Booking appointments and keeping our busy calendar on track.
Answering calls, emails and queries about treatments, services, and general pet care.
Making sure our patient records are accurate and up to date.
Taking payments and helping with billing queries.
Supporting the vets and nurses with occasional tasks (including the odd sample or bit of paperwork).
Keeping reception tidy and welcoming.
Following up with clients about appointments, medications, and health reminders.
Occasionally lending a hand with animal handling when needed.
What we're looking for
Experience in a veterinary setting is a big plus, but we'll consider anyone with strong admin and customer service skills.
Good at juggling tasks and staying organised, even when it's busy.
Excellent communication skills and a genuinely caring attitude.
Bonus points if you've worked with pet insurance claims or in a lab setting.
Extra bonus if you speak Spanish - we have some Spanish-speaking clients who'd really appreciate it!
Why join Ecovets?
We're not a big chain - we're proudly independent. That means we can focus on what really matters: giving our patients the best care and supporting each other as a team. You'll be surrounded by people who love animals just as much as you do, and no two days are ever the same!
