Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Full or Part-Time | 40,000-65,000+ DOE | No OOH | Certificate Support | North East England

The Role





This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced small animal vet (minimum 3 years) to join a

well-established 4-site practice

with a new purpose-built hospital on the horizon--including plans for CT. The full-time role is 40 hours per week, with

no OOH

, and part-time applicants are very welcome.



You'll benefit from

20-minute consults

, built-in admin time, and a smart diary system that accommodates urgent and routine cases. A mentoring or

senior vet role

is also available for candidates looking to take on a leadership path or GDP responsibilities.


The Practice





This long-standing, independent-minded practice is packed with experience--boasting

certificate holders in surgery, cardiology, imaging, dentistry, and minimally invasive surgery

across its four branches.



The new hospital site will add

CT to an already excellent equipment suite

, including digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and laparoscopy. A solid nursing team (including cert-holding RVNs) supports clinical excellence throughout.

A small animal vet with

3+ years' experience

Confident in consults and routine surgery Happy with occasional sole charge Excellent communicator and team player Keen to develop or mentor others (if applying for senior role)
