We are a recently established independent, non profit veterinary practice based in Oakworth, West Yorkshire.
Our venue is located within beautiful countryside on the edge of Bronte Country. Though rural we are within 20 minutes drive of Keighley, Skipton and Colne; and approximately one hour from Harrogate, Leeds, Manchester and Preston.
Our team is friendly, welcoming, respectful and compassionate and would prefer all applicants to be the same.
We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join us, working a 4 day week plus weekends on a rotation basis. The hours are 8:00am to 7:00pm with a one hour break and 2.5 hour allowance for administrative duties per day.
Though our current client base is solely dogs, cats and rabbits, experience with large animals and / or exotics would be an advantage as being rural, it is important to us that we are able to offer care for other animals as soon as we can.
Candidates must be comfortable working on a sole charge basis, be registered with the RCVS and therefore permitted to practise within the UK.
We strive to provide the ultimate care for our future patients and plan to expand into other locations, eventually becoming a new normal for veterinary care. Having the right team in place is mandatory for our success.
Please apply with your CV detailing all educational and working experience, along with a cover letter explaining your availability for interview, area(s) of speciality, workload expectations and contracted notice period for your current employer as relevant.
