We are looking for a general Vet to be a part of a passionate team committed to delivering the highest standards of service and outcomes for our patients and clients. The role will involve first opinion consulting, procedures and integrating into the emergency and ICU stream, with the addition of time working with our dedicated night team on our 'swing shifts' until 10pm.

Working hours

: Full-time across a 4-day week, including 1 in 4 full weekends. You'll have a fixed day off (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday), with one swing shift per week finishing at 10pm.

Hampstead is a fantastically well-equipped 24hour hospital. You will have access to a CT scanner, full dental suite, fully kitted out ICU, endoscopy, ultrasound and much more. We are looking for a general vet, but specific areas of interests encouraged and supported. This clinic has springboarded many vets into internships and residencies in the past! You will be working alongside certificate holders in Surgery, ECC, medicine, exotics and diagnostic imaging. Our primary care clinic is a well-established part of our community and sees a great variety of dogs, cats and some exotics. It offers the full range of services to provide excellent and convenient services throughout life with s focus on excellent customer care. Vet24 receives internal and external surgical referrals and serves as the 24-hour emergency clinic for many North London vet practices. With the high emergency caseload, it would be a great environment to develop an interest in emergency medicine and ECC. An imaging interest would also compliment this position very well. We have an experience dedicated night team on site, making this a day only position. The late 'swing shifts' overlap with the night team for great continuity of care, teamwork and care provision for the community of referring vets and their clients.

What we are looking for:



MRCVS 2- 4 years' experience and confidence in small animal general practice.
