About the Role
We're looking for an
experienced small animal veterinary surgeon
to join our growing team, with the potential to take on a
branch lead role
. You'll have access to:
State-of-the-art equipment:
CT scanner, digital X-ray, quality ultrasound (including Doppler), full IDEXX lab, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and excellent surgical facilities.
A strong clinical support network:
Certificate holders in cardiology, dermatology, small animal surgery, ophthalmology, and dentistry working alongside a Clinical Committee
Ongoing development:
Regular clinical meetings, supportive management, and mentorship opportunities for career growth
About You
You'll be a compassionate, proactive, and adaptable vet who thrives in a busy clinical setting. You value continuous learning, bring a positive, team-oriented mindset, and are committed to delivering excellent care to both clients and their pets.
Essential Criteria
MRCVS-qualified and eligible to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available)
4+ years' experience in small animal practice
Confident in routine surgery and general medicine
Excellent communication and client rapport skills
Committed to high clinical standards and patient care
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Willing to join a 1:4 Saturday rota
Desirable
Interest or experience in a clinical specialism
Certificate holder or working towards a postgraduate qualification
Experience mentoring junior vets or leading a team
Familiarity with advanced diagnostics/surgical tools (e.g. CT, laparoscopy)
Interest in fear-free or low-stress handling techniques
