Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon



Salary: Up to 60,000 per annum FTE (D.O.E)



Location: Donnachie and Townley Veterinary Centre, Stafford



Job Type: Permanent. Open to full-time & part-time applications



Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days with a 1:3 Saturday mornings. No OOH

Balanced caseload

- Your typical week will include 1 day of surgery, 1 day of consultations, and 2 mixed days. We're happy to adapt the frequency of surgery or consults to suit your preference.

Modern, well-equipped premises

- Recently renovated, light and spacious sites with two theatres at Rugeley (linked by glass), plus digital X-ray, vista scanner, in-house blood machines, ultrasound, and dental radiography.

High standards of care

- Both sites hold Cat-Friendly Silver status, along with Silver RWAF and Green Investors in the Environment (iiE) accreditation.

Our Team



5 Vets, supported by a dedicated nursing and client care team. A genuinely supportive, sociable team that values case continuity and building lasting client relationships. We also treat wildlife and exotic cases, from hedgehogs and owls to reptiles and even a baby dragon!

What We're Looking For



A confident small animal Vet, comfortable with routine primary care duties. Interest in developing advanced skills is welcomed - we actively encourage CPD and professional growth. Someone who values teamwork, enjoys variety, and shares our passion for providing the best care to patients.
