The Opportunity

We are working with a purpose-built, not-for-profit veterinary clinic opening in St Helens, created to serve pets and owners who are too often priced out of care. This is not a volume-driven environment or a corporate box-ticking exercise. It is a clinic built around one simple belief: no pet should go untreated when there is a viable option to help them.





You will be joining a team that sees a genuinely varied and rewarding caseload, with a strong focus on sick and injured animals. This is hands-on, meaningful veterinary work where your judgement matters and continuity of care is valued.





The clinic is backed by a well-established 24 hour site nearby, meaning cases are supported properly and patients are never left without care.

You will predominantly work up medical and surgical cases that require real problem-solving, not just routine throughput. This is a role for vets who enjoy medicine and want to keep learning.

In your first month

, you will settle into the team, get to know the systems, and build confidence with the facilities and caseload, supported by colleagues who want you to succeed.

By three months

, you will be confidently managing complex cases, contributing your own clinical opinions, and shaping how you approach medicine within the clinic.

By six months

, you will be a trusted, established part of the team, with the opportunity to pursue funded CPD or certificates aligned with your interests and strengths.
