Veterinary Surgeon (surgical Bias)

Lymm, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced vet with a strong surgical bias to join the caring team at our independent practice. This position may suit a certificate holder, a candidate wishing to pursue a surgery certificate, or someone who is keen to concentrate on surgery with less consulting. An interest in imaging would also be an advantage, as would OV status.

We have an experienced team of three vets, three RVNs, one trainee, and five receptionists, with a growing, thriving client base, and a great relationship with the local community as can be seen by our nearly 500 five-star Google reviews.

Our fellow practices in Westbrook and Sandymoor are both within a 30-minute drive. There are certificate holders at these surgeries in medicine, ophthalmology and diagnostic imaging so a vast array of experienced support is always available.

Our practice has been built to a high standard, with all the expected toys and gadgets. Should you have a special interest, we are fully committed to investing in equipment needed to support that.

We are continuing to build a practice that encourages a collaborative and supportive team approach that helps our team members thrive. Full-time members of our team work four days out of five with a dedicated day off every week and we outsource our out of hours work to protect our team's work-life balance.

Your role will involve leading our surgical team, you will be exposed to a large and varied caseload as we are fortunate enough to have a client base who are mostly insured and have a large degree of trust in us.

Surgical hats with fun prints are a must and we will always try and make the day more enjoyable with some healthy banter and plenty of coffee and cake!

If this job sounds like it could be for you, we would love to hear from you!
