VETERINARY SURGEON

Warren House Veterinary Centre, Brownhills, West Midlands

Salary: GBP 50,000 to GBP 65,000 DOE

Hours: 4 day working week

Warren House Veterinary Centre is seeking a motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join our expanding, award winning small animal practice at an exciting stage of growth.

We are an RCVS accredited practice and proud winners of Best UK Vets 2024. The practice is independently owned and led by a senior veterinary surgeon, with a strong focus on clinical excellence, modern facilities, and a supportive team culture.

ABOUT THE PRACTICE

Warren House operates as a blended first opinion practice alongside VETEMIS Referrals. This is our dedicated endoscopy and minimally invasive diagnostics referral service. The role provides exposure to both general practice and referral level medicine and surgery.

FACILITIES

Advanced anaesthesia and monitoring including mechanical ventilation

Endoscopy and minimally invasive diagnostic services

New extension opening May 2026 including laparoscopic theatres, a dedicated dental suite, and an orthopaedic theatre

Strong emphasis on patient safety and evidence based medicine

THE ROLE

4 day working week, no OOH, share in 1:4 Saturdays 9am-12.30pm

One dedicated theatre list per week with structured supervision

Mixed caseload including first opinion work and exposure to referral diagnostics

Role designed to support clinical development and confidence at any level

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

RCVS registered

At least 1 year experience (senior role will be advertised separately but feel free to enquire directly with the practice)

VetGDP completed or equivalent experience

Confident in routine small animal GP work

Keen to develop surgical, diagnostic, and anaesthetic skills

Positive and collaborative team player

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Salary GBP 50,000 to GBP 65,000 depending on experience (based on 1-5 years postgrad experience)
