Welcome to roaring Stone Lion! Our 24-hour hospital nestled in Wimbledon has the opportunity for an experienced hospital vet that has a few years under their belt and is looking for more responsibility within a hospital setting.

About your new role!

This

4-day week role

plus weekend rotation (1:3 Saturdays and 1:10 Sundays) will involve working across numerous departments within the hospital including consults, surgeries and ward.

You will be rota d to up to 2 bank holidays per year, and there are NO on-call requirements.

Your role will also involve more advanced responsibilities including being involved in the running of the hospital floor and supporting junior colleagues.



Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital offers a well-rounded caseload of routine procedures, emergency, and critical care, as it not only has its own first opinion client base but also supports the surrounding Goddard practices for internal referral cases that require hospital expertise.



The hospital also provides specialist work with an orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeon, cardiologist, and physiotherapist.



Stone Lion is equipped with everything you would expect from a 24-hour hospital and we are an RCVS Accredited Hospital and for the cat lovers out there, hold an ISFM Silver Award for Cat Friendly Clinics.



In Stone Lion Hospital you will be fully supported by a team of experienced vets, an ever-growing team of RVNs, trainee nurses and clinically experienced on site management.

Leadership training is provided if you wished to build on your management skills.

The Hospital is located in the heart of picturesque Wimbledon Village, just a 10-minute walk from Wimbledon Junction station which is on the district line and enables you to get to all the hot spots of London!

The salary band for this full-time hospital position is

45,000 to 73,000 FTE

depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role.
