Role Overview



The incumbent will be responsible for portfolio and investment management activities covering Brookfield's logistics assets across the European continent. This role will be a key partner in driving investment performance, creating value, and serving as a trusted resource on financial and operational matters.


The position involves frequent interaction with asset managers, leasing heads, finance teams within Brookfield's logistics portfolio companies, and senior executives across the organisation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, demonstrates strong communication and analytical skills, has excellent attention to detail, and possesses a solid foundation in finance and valuations.





Key Responsibilities



Source and screen bolt-on investment opportunities with high level analysis and identification of key considerations. Support investment theses, identify value creation strategies, and assist in developing transaction and deal structure ideas. Serve as the main point of contact for forecasting, financial, and performance-related queries, liaising with internal stakeholders as required. Implement short- and long-term business plan objectives, driving asset performance through collaboration with asset managers and third-party consultants. Conduct financial analysis, monitor performance against business plans, and review portfolio metrics on an ongoing basis. Assist in managing tenant relationships. Play a key role in strategic transactions, including underwriting reviews for acquisitions, asset dispositions, and execution of major capital expenditure projects. Participate in monthly leasing calls and review or approve heads of terms and key lease agreements for major or strategic transactions. Partner closely with the Capital Markets team on financings and lender reviews, taking a lead role in negotiations and refinancing execution. Manage approval processes and provide recommendations for requests from Portfolio Company management teams up to the Board. Frequent travel across Europe is required.

Skills required



Highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and proactive. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated leadership ability and a collaborative approach, with the capacity to motivate and engage experienced professionals. Willingness to take on special projects and contribute to the platform's growth. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities. Proficiency in one or more European languages preferred (French, German, or Dutch).

Relevant Experience



At least 8 years+ experience in real estate investment with a proven track record of sourcing and executing logistics transaction in Europe. Experience working in an investment capacity Background of working with leasing or asset management is advantageous.
