Fresh Cut Video is a creative video production company based in Oxford. We produce engaging content for leading brands, universities, charities, and broadcasters, with a portfolio spanning corporate films, live streams, documentaries and social campaigns. Our team is passionate about delivering impactful visual stories across formats and platforms.

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Production Manager to provide maternity cover for a key team member, overseeing production and post-production operations across a range of projects.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a pivotal role at the heart of our team, overseeing project delivery from pre-production through to post. You'll work closely with our producers, editors, clients, and freelancers to ensure that timelines are met, resources are allocated, and quality remains high. You'll also oversee the smooth day-to-day running of operational systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Post Oversight

Manage project timelines from development through to final delivery Oversee production and post schedule Coordinate shoots and post-production workflows, including bookings, deliverables, and team comms Support risk assessments, release forms, insurance, and compliance documentation Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure accurate briefs and smooth delivery

Workflow & Systems Management

Maintain up-to-date schedules, task tracking in Asana Coordinate across departments to monitor progress, flag blockers, and allocate resources Ensure all project documentation and files are stored and managed correctly Support team with onboarding, shoot planning, and logistics as needed

Budgeting & Accounts

Project budgeting and creating estimates using Excel and QuickBooks Issuing and chasing invoices using QuickBooks Setting up payment runs using Apron

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with hands-on experience overseeing production and post-production, someone who thrives on keeping projects organised, teams aligned, and clients reassured.

You'll need to be a strong communicator, problem solver, and multi-tasker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, creative environment. Familiarity with Asana is highly desirable.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a production management in a PM or Senior Coordinator role. Solid knowledge of both shoot logistics and post workflows Understanding of post-production timelines and deliverables Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with tools such as Gmail, Google Drive, Slack

Highly Desirable Tools & Platforms

Proficiency in Asana for task and project tracking Experience working in a small production company or creative team environment Familiarity with Bright HR or similar tools for managing team logistics Experience using QuickBooks for estimates, invoicing, and basic financial tracking

Contract Details

Fixed-term maternity cover (6-9 months) Start date: September 2025 Based at our Oxford office (on-site parking available) Salary: 40,000-45,000 pro rata Potential for long-term opportunity beyond the cover period as Fresh Cut Video grows
