Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. You will work closely with the company director to ensure that our social media content aligns with our overall marketing goals. This role requires a strong understanding of current social media trends, excellent communication skills, a good level of videography, photography and video editing skill, and proficiency in various digital tools.

We work a four day week (Monday-Thursday) and have flexible view on working hours, but the position will require you to work at our workshop and office rather than working from home.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms including Youtube, Instagram, Snapchat and LinkedIn. Create engaging video content that resonates with our target audience. Monitor social media channels for trends and customer feedback, responding promptly to inquiries and comments. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure our strategies remain relevant.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role. Strong photography skills with an eye for detail in visual storytelling. Experience in video editing and production to create compelling multimedia content. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. A passion for staying ahead of digital marketing trends and best practices. Own equipment preferred
