An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the virtual school team in a new post with the main focus of the role being to work with a range of partners to ensure that the cohort of children and young people (both care experience and those known to social care and living in kinship arrangements) close the gaps in their learning and achieve ambitious educational outcomes and that they have appropriate support to overcome barriers to learning and progress caused by their lived experiences.
The postholder will have knowledge and experience of the barriers to education faced by the cohort and will contribute to the virtual school statutory duties and non-statutory extended duties with a key focus on inclusion and belonging.
This post is a hybrid role with office base at West Offices.
