Are you passionate about ensuring compliance and supporting international students? We are looking for a meticulous and proactive

Visa Compliance Officer

to join our team. In this vital role, you will play a key part in ensuring the university meets its

student visa sponsorship obligations

with the

UK Home Office

, while providing expert guidance to both students and colleagues.


This is a

hybrid position,

where you will work two days per week at our

London-Moorgate

campus and three days

working from home

.

As our Visa Compliance Officer

,

you will:

Assess the eligibility for student visa sponsorship from continuing students or those returning from a period of intermission. Monitor international students' attendance and engagement, ensuring compliance with visa conditions To carry out all UKVI reporting, ensuring that all changes to a student's circumstances are promptly reported via the Home Office Management System (SMS) Execute visa extension processes and oversee Graduate Route reporting. Participate in audits and contribute to policy development related to student visa compliance. Work closely with Admissions, International Recruitment, Student Services, and external agencies (e.g., UKCISA, Home Office) to provide expert advice on student visa matters.

Is this you?:

Capable of processing large amounts of complex information efficiently, while maintaining a high attention to detail Excellent

attention to detail

and ability to interpret complex regulations. Strong

administrative and data management

skills. Outstanding

interpersonal and communication

abilities. Experience working in a

visa compliance or student immigration role

within an educational setting would be a distinct advantage as would familiarity with the

Home Office Sponsor Management System (SMS)

and student visa regulations.
