Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Aylesbury. In this role, you will provide essential support and compassionate care to our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while aligning with our mission of delivering quality home care.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Develop and implement individualised care plans
Maintain accurate records of client progress and activities
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Assist with meal preparation and nutrition needs
Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
Knowledge of elderly care practices, including Alzheimer's and dementia care
First aid certification is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Valid driver's license is an advantage but not mandatory.
