Peripatetic Drum Teacher

Self-employed contract starting 1st January 2026

Monkton is looking for a self-employed Drum Teacher who can offer lessons to our Prep School pupils from 1st January 2026

The students have a varying level of ability and experience and study a range of styles.

You would ideally offer at least one day of teaching per week to pupils from year 4 to year 7. Once offering your services in the school, overtime the hope would be that you expand the amount of lessons being offered. Hours to be by mutual agreement with the Director of Music, depending on pupil demand, but with potential to expand as demand increases.This is a self-employed role and you would be paid directly by the pupils' parents.

Lessons are billed in advance, and the fees are currently 312 for ten 40 minute lessons. Fees are for the academic year 2025 and are subject to annual review in September each year.
