Marlborough College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced
Football Coach
to join our vibrant Sports Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work with motivated pupils in one of the UK's leading co-educational boarding schools, supporting the continued development of football across the College.
The Role
As a Visiting Sports Coach specialising in football, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging coaching sessions for pupils of varying abilities
Focus on technical skill development, tactical understanding and sportsmanship
Adapt coaching techniques to meet individual and group needs
Foster an inclusive, supportive and positive learning environment
Provide constructive feedback to help pupils reach their potential
Maintain accurate attendance and performance records
Work collaboratively with the Director of Sport and wider coaching team
About You
We are looking for a coach who brings:
Strong experience in football coaching or competitive play
Excellent communication and motivational skills
A sound understanding of football rules, strategy and player development
The ability to inspire and engage young athletes
A commitment to promoting teamwork, discipline and positive behaviour
Flexibility, professionalism and a supportive coaching style
Desirable:
Experience working in a school or regulated environment
Experience coaching athletes at different levels
Interest or experience in talent identification and player development
