We are looking for a caring and motivated Visiting Support Officer to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will support older and vulnerable adults to maintain their independance, improve their wellbeing and feel more connected to their community.
What You'll Do
Provide one to one support to clients in their own home
Assist with welfare benefits, budgeting, and managing day to day challenges
Help clients access aids, adaptations, assistive technology and local services
Encourage social interaction and participation in community activities
Liaise with familes, GP's, agencies and other professionals to coordinate care.
Maintain accurate recorda and follow GDPR and safeguarding policies
What We're Looking For
Experience of working with older or vulnerable adults, likely face to face
Good organisational and communication skills
Ability to prioritise and problem-solve effectively
IT skills, including experience of using databases and spreadsheets
Awareness of Safeguarding, GDPR and Health and Safety
Confidence to work independently and travel across South Cambridgeshire
