Help create unforgettable visits at two of London's most unique museums, making every visitor feel welcome, informed and inspired.
As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you'll be the friendly face greeting everyone who walks through the doors of Leighton House and Sambourne House. You'll ensure a warm, professional and safe welcome, helping visitors get the most from their time with us.
Working Style
You'll work on a casual basis, choosing shifts that suit you, while still playing a key role in serving the local community. Whether you're working on the frontline or behind the scenes, you'll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents' lives.
What you'll be doing
This is a public-facing role where your focus will be on delivering great service and making sure every visitor has a safe and enjoyable experience. Whether someone's here for the art, the architecture or just a quiet moment, you'll help make their visit memorable.
You'll support the daily running of Leighton House and Sambourne House--staffing the front desk, assisting with access needs, and providing helpful information about the buildings, exhibitions and facilities. You'll also play an active role in retail, from using the till to managing stock and fulfilling online orders.
There's plenty of variety in the role--you'll help set up for public events, monitor the general upkeep of our spaces, and support the wider museum team as needed. You'll work closely with colleagues and volunteers to make sure the museums always look their best and feel welcoming to everyone who visits.
