Job Summary

We're looking for an energetic, hands-on

Visitor Services Manager

to lead the day-to-day operation of Tumblestone Hollow Adventure Playground. This is a varied, people-focused role where you'll ensure a safe, well-run site, deliver outstanding visitor experiences, and lead a passionate frontline team. From operations and events to retail, food & beverage and staffing, you'll play a key role in shaping a fun, welcoming and memorable experience for every visitor.

4 to 5 days per week (some flexibility), daytime hours only so a great role for someone from hospitality looking for a better work/life balance. Please note that due to the operating hours of Tumblestone Hollow this job requires weekend working.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Safety



Oversee the safe, smooth daily operation of Tumblestone Hollow Carry out daily safety checks, inspections and incident reporting Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and maintenance Act confidently and professionally in response to accidents or issues

Customer Experience



Be the on-site, customer-facing lead, resolving issues and handling feedback Ensure the team delivers consistently excellent service Oversee birthday parties and special bookings from enquiry to delivery

Team Leadership



Recruit, induct, train and motivate the Visitor Services team Manage rotas in line with bookings, weather and seasonal demand Support and lead the team during busy periods Hold regular reviews with supervisors and kitchen team to drive improvements

Events & Seasonal Activities



Lead delivery of Tumblestone Hollow events (e.g. Halloween, Easter) Manage set-up, derig, team briefings and post-event reviews

Retail & Food & Beverage



Ensure retail and cafe areas are well presented, stocked and accurately recorded on EPOS Manage stock, suppliers and pricing to maximise spend per head and margins Work closely with the chef to maintain high-quality, compliant F&B offerings Ensure food hygiene, allergen procedures and H&S standards are met

Wider Site Support



Support Stonor House and wider estate events as required Assist with group visits, events calendar delivery and marketing content Ensure FOH staff are briefed to upsell and cross-sell across all offerings
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: 30,000.00 per year
