Job Overview
As a Vocal Teacher at Apollo Music School, you will deliver engaging and structured Vocal lessons to both individual students and group classes, catering to a range of skill levels--from complete beginners to advanced players. You will play an important role in fostering musical growth, encouraging student progress, and preparing learners for performances or exams where appropriate.

adapt your lessons to suit different learning styles, abilities, and musical preferences
, including students with special educational needs (SEN). This may involve modifying lesson content, using multi-sensory approaches, or offering alternative methods of engagement and assessment. Working Hours
Apollo Music School operates during weekday afternoons and evenings, with core teaching hours between
2:00 PM and 8:30 PM
, Monday to Friday. As a Vocal Teacher, you will be expected to work within this window. Your exact schedule will be agreed upon in advance, based on student demand and your availability.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Vocal lessons tailored to student needs and abilities.
Teach
both one-to-one and group lessons
across various age groups (children, teens, and adults).
Create a fun, safe, and productive learning environment.
Track and report on student progress; provide feedback and support.
Prepare students for performances, exams (if applicable), and internal showcases.
Contribute positively to the school's community and attend occasional staff meetings or training.
Requirements
Essential:
Proficiency in Vocal performance and technique equivalent to Grade 8 Standard.
Ability to manage and engage small groups as well as individual students.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
A degree or diploma in music or music education.
Previous teaching experience (private or classroom-based).
Experience preparing students for graded exams (e.g., Trinity, Rockschool, ABRSM, LCM).
