Voids Manager



(known internally - Team Leader, Empty Homes)



40 Hours Per Week



Circa 47,500 - 50,500 per annum (depending on experience)



Horsham, West Sussex





We're looking for a Voids Manager to lead our Empty Homes service. In this key role, you'll make sure vacant properties are turned around quickly, meet our lettable standard, and are ready for new customers helping us reduce rent loss and deliver great outcomes. You'll do this by leading and motivating an in-house trade team, supported at times by trusted contractors, to help us achieve our purpose of enabling positive life chances by providing safe and secure homes.


You will monitor performance through KPI's, carry out inspections, manage health & safety, resolve customer complaints, and us data to drive improvement. For full details of responsibilities, please see the attached role profile.

To be successful in this role you will need to:



Have demonstrated experience in successfully managing a team of people in a construction or repairs environment. Act as a role model to a trade team, upholding our values and leading by example. Be an effective communicator, able to build strong relationships internally and externally. Put customers first and deliver a high-quality, reliable service. Be confident in using IT systems and analysing data to monitor performance. Have a good understanding of budget management Have a good understanding of contractor management Have a good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and practice.
