The Role

As a Service Advisor you will be based in our busy Basingstoke Volkswagen Commercial Van dealership. Being the main point of contact for our service customers you must be a well presented, confident, motivated and a target driven person who is good at interacting with people and can represent the company in a professional way. This is a challenging and rewarding role that puts you at the front of the business, liaising with our workshop, parts and sales departments to ensure the very best experience for our customers.

This role of Service Advisor involves:
Providing an exceptional level of customer care and satisfaction
Maximising booking opportunity for servicing and repairs
Regular communication updating customers of the progress of their vehicles
Accurately quoting and invoicing for work carried out
Making customers aware of company products and services
Selling additional products and services such as service plans
Working well individually and as part of a team
Job preparation including pre-calls and follow up feedback calls
Personal organisation and IT skills, plus some basic vehicle technical knowledge
A genuine desire to provide great customer treatment and ensure our customer receive the best advise to keep their vehicle well maintained.

The Person

In the role of Service Advisor you will:
Be a polite and friendly personality with the ability to engage with customers whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer care
Have previous face to face direct sales experience, selling either a product or a service within a target driven environment
Be organised and have strong time management skills
Be able to work under pressure and have the ability to multitask to ensure deadlines are met
Previous motor trade experience of 2 years, and any VAG group accreditation is preferred but is not essential as full training will be given to the right Candidate

Remuneration
