Llandudno FC is seeking a proactive and professional Match Organisation Officer to oversee and support the smooth running of home fixtures. As the club continues its growth toward Cymru Premier football, this role is key to ensuring safety, coordination, and professionalism on every match day.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee match day operations and coordinate the stewarding team to ensure spectator safety and efficient crowd management.
Welcome and assist both sets of teams, match officials, and visiting club representatives upon arrival.
Lead and organise the match day stretcher team, ensuring readiness and compliance with FAW health and safety standards.
Coordinate with the Stadium Announcer, First Team Equipment Manager, and Head of Grassroots to ensure ball assistants and mascots are arranged for each home game and properly facilitated throughout the match.
Manage entry and exit points, ensuring clear communication between stewards and the Safety Officer.
Monitor spectator areas throughout the match and respond effectively to incidents or emergencies.
Support the safe evacuation of the stadium if required and uphold safety and conduct regulations.
Provide an excellent standard of customer service to fans, participants, and visitors.
Coordinate post-match tasks including reporting, facility checks, and team welfare.
Help maintain a welcoming and professional environment that reflects the values and ambitions of Llandudno FC.
Requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Calm and dependable under pressure with a keen awareness of safety and crowd control.
Experience in event coordination or facility management is beneficial but not essential.
Reliability and commitment to all scheduled home fixtures.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups including officials, players, volunteers, and supporters.
Training will be provided for relevant safety and emergency procedures.
Hours and Remuneration
Voluntary position based on home fixtures and selected club events.
Match day attendance required, including occasional evening and weekend work.
Free hot drinks and post-match food provided as part of the role.
