Altrincham FC is actively raising the profile and performance level of our women's team as we embark on an exciting new era.
Previously operating under Altrincham FC Community Sports - the official charity of the club - the women's team is now fully integrated into the football department, alongside the men's first team, reserves, and academy. The team currently competes at Step 7 of the official Women's Football Pyramid and is pushing for swift promotion back to Step 6.

This is a part-time, VOLUNTARY role as of 2025/26 Season.
Key Responsibilities:
Filming & On-Site Capture
Attend training sessions and matches to physically film and record key moments, capturing dynamic footage of players in action and coaches delivering instructions.
Ensure high-quality audio and visuals, using appropriate equipment and angles to create exciting, professional content.
Identify and capture key highlights, reactions, and moments that can be repurposed into engaging short-form and long-form content.
Video Editing & Content Creation
Edit and produce engaging match and training highlights for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
Create short-form content tailored to social media algorithms, including fast-paced clips, sound syncing, captions, and trending formats.
Develop long-form videos for performance reviews, behind-the-scenes content, and player/team features.
Media Strategy & Brand Alignment
Contribute to the club's online presence by aligning video content with its brand identity.
Suggest and execute creative video ideas to grow reach and engagement across digital platforms.
Keep up with trends in football content creation and social media editing styles.

Availability & Flexibility
This is a part-time, VOLUNTARY role as of 2025/26 Season.
Our ideal candidate will be available to attend some training sessions and matchdays:
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7-9pm (South Manchester - Partington/Cheadle)
Sundays, 2-4pm (Matchdays across the North West)
The video editing aspect will work on a
remote working model
with the right individual, allowing editing work to be completed from home - provided deadlines are met and there is availability for occasional in-person meetings with staff and players.
