Previously operating under Altrincham FC Community Sports - the official charity of the club - the women's team is now fully integrated into the football department, alongside the men's first team, reserves, and academy. The team currently competes at Step 7 of the official Women's Football Pyramid and is pushing for swift promotion back to Step 6.

We are now seeking a passionate and detail-oriented
Opposition Analyst/Scout
to join our growing performance support team for the 2025/26 season.
This is a part-time, VOLUNTARY role as of 2025/26 Season.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend designated fixtures to observe and scout opposition teams.
Produce detailed analysis reports on upcoming opponents, covering:
Formations and tactical setups
Playing styles and build-up patterns
Pressing triggers and transitional play
In-possession and out-of-possession tendencies
Set-piece routines (attacking and defensive)
Highlight key opposition players, including their strengths, weaknesses, preferred movements, and behavioural patterns in match scenarios.
Identify and report on set-piece strategies, marking systems, and potential areas of vulnerability.
Collaborate with the delivery and analysis team to ensure your insights inform the match plan and tactical preparations.

You'll be expected to attend selected opposition matches in person, with the flexibility to complete follow-up analysis and reporting remotely. Occasional in-person meetings with staff and players will also be required, subject to availability and scheduling.
