Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Coach to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong interest in sports and a desire to educate and inspire young athletes. As a Volunteer Coach, you will play a crucial role in developing the skills and confidence of participants while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging training sessions that cater to the skill levels of all participants. Educate athletes on the fundamentals of the sport, including techniques, strategies, and rules. Provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their performance. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among participants. Organise and supervise practice sessions, games, and events. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaches to ensure a cohesive team environment. Maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere during all activities.

Qualifications

Previous experience in sports coaching or related fields is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of the sport you will be coaching. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate effectively. A passion for working with young people and helping them develop their skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Commitment to promoting inclusivity and respect within the sporting environment.

Pay: 10.00-25.00 per hour
