Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Volunteers to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our mission to promote public health and engage with the community. Volunteers will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various areas, including project management, fundraising, and social media management, while making a positive impact.

Duties

Assist in the planning and execution of public health initiatives and community outreach programmes. Participate in fundraising activities to support organisational goals. Supervise and guide other volunteers during events and projects. Engage with the community through social media platforms to raise awareness about our initiatives. Provide administrative support, including data entry, record keeping, and reporting on project outcomes. Educate community members on health-related topics through workshops or informational sessions. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective marketing strategies for events.

Qualifications

A background or interest in public health is preferred but not essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Experience in fundraising or event planning is advantageous. Proficiency in social media management and marketing techniques. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to educate diverse audiences. Experience in project management is a plus, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
