Food Train is a registered charity and social enterprise dedicated to making daily life easier for older people. Since 1995, we have provided vital grocery delivery services to those who can no longer manage independently due to age, ill health, or disability.
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team in Falkirk on either a Tuesday or a Thursday.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that older individuals have access to fresh groceries, contributing significantly to our mission of supporting those in need.
Responsibilities
Deliver groceries to clients in a timely and safe manner
Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Assist with loading and unloading groceries from the vehicle
Ensure vehicle maintenance and cleanliness are upheld
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction
Report any issues or concerns regarding deliveries promptly.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift shopping delivery boxes items safely
Good communication skills for interacting with clients
Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods is advantageous.
