Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

We are looking for an enthusiatic Ecotherapy Volunteer to join our friendly and supportive team.

Change Grow Live - The Place provides support and treatment to young people under 25 in Nottingham who are experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol.

Where:

Nottingham

When:

Whether you can donate one day a week of your time or 3days+, we will work with you to be as flexible as possible. Our service is open 9AM - 5PM.

Volunteer Expenses:

Travel and lunch expenses will be reimbursed as per CGL volunteer policy.

Key activities of the role -

Work with staff and service users to generate ideas for ecotherapy projects/initiatives Assist staff and service users in implementing projects/initiatives e.g., sourcing materials, planting and maintaining gardens, upcycling items etc. Build relationships with local community projects/services to support partnerships and ongoing sustainability Co-facilitate service user ecotherapy groups or outdoor activities alongside staff Support staff with preparations for activities e.g., setting up and clearing away required equipment / materials Help to create a warm, friendly and encouraging atmosphere Support service users to engage in activities Gather feedback from service users to co-create new ideas and ways to improve our ecotherapy activities Raise concerns you have about others with staff as required (e.g. safeguarding) Opportunities to contribute to service social media posts related to ecotherapy
