Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Host/Host to join our team at FoodCycle. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our organization, ensuring that all guests feel valued and supported as they participate in our community meals. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of individuals facing food poverty and social isolation.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at our community meals. Assist in seating arrangements and ensure a pleasant dining experience for all attendees. Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service. Provide information about FoodCycle's mission and programs to guests. Support volunteers in their roles during meal preparation and service.

Requirements

Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and staff. A passion for community support and reducing food waste. Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
