Sarah Barker Art Studios CIC is a brand-new, inclusive Community Interest Company based in Bodmin. Founded by local mouth-painting artist Sarah Barker, who is paralysed from the neck down, our mission is to create a vibrant, fully accessible art hub for people of all ages and abilities.
We run creative community sessions including our exciting new pilot programme "Boogie and Brush"--an inclusive, music-led painting experience for children and young people. We're building a community where everyone can create, connect, and feel empowered through art.
We also have programmes called "Blokes and Brushstrokes" which aims to tackle men's mental health through creativity. "Rhythm and Rhyme" for parents, newborns and todders and "Drawn Together" which aims to improve mental health for all ages.
