We provide a safe environment for children to play in an after school club. We are seeking a volunteer Play Worker for one afternoon per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays for 2 hours per session from 3.25 - 5.30pm. You would be assisting in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for the children and facilitating lego play, board games and drawing . You will also listen to one or two children read their school book and be there to help with homework when necessary.
This is a good opportunity for someone who needs a placement to accompany their studies in childcare, someone hoping to gain experience with children, or someone hoping to gain a reference for their contribution to the after school club.
