is a national initiative dedicated to empowering Imams, Teachers, and Healers across the UK to serve their communities with

excellence, dignity, and professionalism

We advocate for fair pay, professional development, and interfaith collaboration to strengthen the quality and sustainability of Islamic education and community leadership across the country.

FAITH is currently entering

Phase 1 (Dec 2025 - Nov 2026)

of its development -- building its structure, membership base, and leadership team.

Role Title: Volunteer Project Manager



Commitment:

Approx. 2-3 hours per week (flexible)

Duration:

December 2025 - November 2026 (Phase 1 duration)

Reports to:

Founder & Trustee (Atia Lokhat)

Location:

Remote (with occasional in-person meetings for events)

Purpose of the Role



The

Project Manager

will oversee and coordinate all elements of

FAITH's Phase 1 Development Plan

, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, timelines are met, and volunteers are supported.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured planning, community-building projects, and leading small volunteer teams to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Coordination



Translate the

FAITH Phase 1 Development Plan

into a detailed working timeline and task tracker. Coordinate monthly milestones (Foundation, Website, Event, Membership, etc.). Ensure progress is maintained across multiple workstreams (website, social media, events, membership). Schedule and chair short monthly check-ins with key volunteers and the Founder.

2. Team Leadership



Support a small team of 3-5 volunteers (communications, admin, web, events). Delegate tasks clearly and follow up on progress. Provide encouragement, structure, and problem-solving support where needed.

3. Event & Launch Oversight



Work alongside the Founder to plan and deliver the

April 2026 FAITH Launch Event (April 17-19)

. Oversee timelines for: Venue booking, speaker coordination, logistics Promotional materials and online registration Volunteer scheduling during the event

4. Communication & Reporting



Maintain regular communication with the Founder about progress, risks, and support needs. Prepare

monthly progress updates

summarising completed tasks and next steps. Support the creation of the

FAITH 2026 Progress Report

at year-end.

5. Collaboration with Other Volunteers



Liaise with:

Social Media Manager

- to align content with project milestones.

Web Developer

- to ensure launch readiness and membership functionality.

Communications Volunteer(s)

- for public announcements and member updates.

Skills & Qualities Required



Strong

organisational and leadership skills

. Experience in

project coordination, event planning, or volunteer management

(professional or community level). Good written and verbal

communication skills

. Comfortable using tools like

Google Workspace, Trello, or Asana

(training can be provided). Ability to

motivate volunteers

and keep projects moving on a timeline. Interest in

faith-based, educational, or social development initiatives

.

Support Provided



Direct mentorship and guidance from FAITH's Founder and Trustee. Access to full project plans, templates, and support materials. Opportunity to attend and co-lead key national events. Optional reference letter or LinkedIn recommendation upon completion.

Expected Outcomes by November 2026



Under the Project Manager's coordination, FAITH will achieve: A fully operational website and online membership system.

Over

1,000 registered members

(Imams, Teachers, and Healers).

A formalised

11-member Steering Committee

.

A successful

national launch event (April 2026)

. A published

FAITH 2026 Progress Report

and Phase 2 roadmap.
