The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity, we have recently moved in our new purpose built home located within Bellahouston Park. The Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with a life-limiting and progressive illnesses and provide support for their families and carers.

Volunteer Recruitment & Administration Lead,

you will take ownership of recruiting, onboarding and managing volunteers across our charity shops, online platforms and warehouses.

You will build strong relationships and lead initiatives that ensure every volunteer feels welcomed, supported, and celebrated. From designing engaging recruitment campaigns to implementing recognition programs, your work will empower volunteers to make a meaningful impact.

This is a purpose-led role that blends community outreach, operational coordination, and volunteer management. If you're a natural connector with a knack for organisation and a heart for service, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Dimensions

To provide a best-in-class retail volunteer recruitment process to support our volunteers, including advertising positions, reviewing applications and conducting interviews.

Ensuring all necessary paperwork and background checks are completed during the onboarding process.

To engage and maintain positive relationships with all volunteers, ensuring their hours of volunteering is celebrated, and rewarded.

Work closely with all members of the retail team to understand local volunteer needs and help attract suitable candidates for specific shop locations.
