Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and foster community engagement. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management to effectively communicate our message across various platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create compelling content tailored for different social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns. Analyse social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy. Assist in managing public relations efforts as they relate to social media outreach.

Experience

Experience in social media management or public relations but not essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail. Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation. Familiarity with graphic design tools is an advantage but not required.
