Join us at Salisbury as a Volunteer Van Driver and help us raise urgent funds for our charity to help communities across the UK.

As a Volunteer Van Driver, you can play a key role in keeping our charity shops thriving. There's always something to do, and we need your help to make it happen!

You'll volunteer with a Driver's Assistant and oversee our collection service and help move items between our sites. This includes packing items and handling larger clearances. By moving donated clothes, bric-a-brac, and furniture, you'll help us resell quality items and fund life-changing services.

This role could include:

Collecting donations from people and local businesses. Moving stock between Shaw Trust sites. Engaging with customers, representing the charity often as the first point of contact. Completing paperwork like stock transfer forms. Being sensitive and respectful to donors.

What we're asking for

The main thing we are looking for is that you are happy to volunteer with a team and have a helpful attitude. Due to the nature of the role, you must be physically able to lift heavy items. Volunteers in our logistics team must be aged 18 and over.
