FoodCycle is looking for
volunteers (unpaid)
for our project in Newport on Tuesday evenings.We are FoodCycle, and our vision is to make food poverty, loneliness and food waste a thing of the past for every community. With community dining, week in, week out we feed the hungry and give company to the lonely in our communities; providing delicious meals and great conversation, and using food which would otherwise go to waste.

We're looking for
volunteers
who can join the cooking or hosting team at the Community House, 1 Eton Rd, Newport NP19 0BLon Tuesday evenings.
We have different volunteer roles:
1.
Hosts
: to welcome guests, and serve teas/coffees and the delicious 3 course meal. Help create a warm, friendly atmosphere2.
Cooks:
to wash, chop and prepare a meal from our surplus food3.
Drivers:
to collect the surplus food and drop it off at the venue before the meal.Each session is guided by our wonderful Project Leaders who will show you what to do. We want to be able to keep up with the demand in the area and so it's only with your help we can keep going!

FoodCycle volunteers must be aged over 18.
